Surgery and Treatment Methodsn

• Tumor surgery of the musculoskeletal system
• Resection of benign and malignant tumors of the bone and soft tissue
• Reconstruction of bone defects by biological procedures (from spongiosaplasty to bone transfer)
• Tumor total endoprosthesis (TEP) of all large joints and bones
• Reconstructive plastics
• Extensive reconstructive procedures for the reconstruction of large pelvic bone defects
• Close cooperation with the university departments of hematology and oncology, pediatric hematology and oncology, radiation therapy, etc.
• Regular tumor conference within the framework of the Tumor Center

The special consultation hours for tumor diseases of the musculoskeletal system take place every Friday from 8:00 - 13:00.

Appointments can be made at short notice by calling 0391/ 67-14050.

The presentation of findings, X-ray images and CT or MRI can also be made by the attending physicians by mail or e-mail to the above-mentioned contact persons.
