Inauguration of the Competence Center

On January 12, 2017, Science Minister Armin Willingmann (SPD) opened the Competence Center Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery 4.0 at Magdeburg University Hospital. Our new research center for implants gives us and the Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences the opportunity to research new materials for hypoallergenic, antibacterial and wear-free implants, especially for knee and hip prostheses. Numerous guests from science and politics from near and far were invited as guests and were able to take a close look at the new laboratories
