Ward 1 (Tel. 0391-6714014)
Facilities
The ward has 27 beds and 8 recovery beds.
Registration and Inpatient Admission
On the day of your hospital admission, please report to the ward nurse of your corresponding treating ward in house 8 (see letter with appointment confirmation).
Patients who wish to make use of elective services should indicate this on admission, as a separate contract will/can be drawn up.
We require the following documents for inpatient admission
- the "prescription for hospital treatment" from your referring physician
- the insurance card
- the identity card or passport
- health passports (if available).
After registration, various admission procedures take place, which can extend over the entire morning. A physician will make a detailed admission assessment and arrange for additional special examinations to be performed. Please be available at all times during this period and do not leave the ward unannounced.
During the preliminary examination, the information and consent for the planned surgery will also take place. Please take the opportunity to discuss any questions and uncertainties with the doctor.
After a successful operation, our social service employee Mrs. Lange (Tel.: 0391-67-21033) will initiate a follow-up treatment for you as an inpatient.
